Every bit as good as I expected. Very well engineered. I have been primarily an air rifle enthusiast, but have wanted to improve my shotgun skills as the two disciplines are very different. I think the best way to do this is with a visual aid, and the Shotkam delivers this perfectly. Now all I need is the practice and coordination - not so easy!

Very easy to set up, just watch the youtube tutorials. Went out to the sporting clays course for a trand improved 10 hits. Very easy to down load clips to my phone and look at your misses. Having fun.

I am a 85-90s shooter but still find some frustrating misses. So far for a non-computer geek sporting clays shooter I have been able to use the ShotKam successfully if not a little tortured because of my Luddite tendencies. I am learning fast and have already seen a swarm of pellets go rushing by an unharmed clay and know exactly why I missed. Once I get a friend to trap for me the shots will improve. Frame by frame is great even when downloaded to a phone there is still a super slow motion ability to see the hits and the misses. It does cost about what an entry level shotgun would cost but I'm hoping to add 5 more x's to my cards with the ShotKam instead of weekend camps and lessons.

This ingenious device has shown me the way to improve from 10 in 25 trap targets to 20-22 in a few practice outings. As a new Trap shooter, this progress builds confidence based on cognizant corrective action taken after studying each shot. Each new trap set becomes more and more muscle autonomous and rewarding. ShotKam is the best instructional tool on the market. Get the shooting basics from an instructor or two and fire up your ShotKam and go shoot.

As clay target shooters we are often told that we are "behind it", "in front of it", "under it" or "over it". I have often wondered at these so called experts because for the life of me I cannot see the shot when someone is shooting! Shotkam, is a source of truth and doesn't lie. I recently had trouble with a very high crosser and couldn't hit it, however, by playing back the video I immediately saw that I was constantly under the clay, I readjusted and bang hit the target! I bought the Shotkam as I shoot with my two boys and we are going to get a lot of fun out of this! The other thing to mention is that you also get addicted to making videos of your shooting prowess!
